Turkish Jewellery Exporters' Association (JTR) published the sector report. The jewellery industry's exports in July reached 371 million dollars. In the first seven months of 2022, a total of 3 billion 68 million dollars of exports were realized. Compared to the same period of the previous year, the rate of increase in exports was 4.5 percent.
Chairman of JTR Burak Yakin stated that the added value created by the jewellery industry is becoming clearer every month and continued his evaluation as follows: “When we look at the seven-month figures, we see that the growth momentum of the jewellery industry continues. Despite the difficulties and fluctuations in the global economy, our industry is working hard to ensure that production and exports continue to increase. We are taking firm steps towards our goal of achieving stronger results by the end of the year.”

Iraq took the fourth place with 183 million dollars of exports, and Israel took the fifth place with 151 million dollars of exports.
